Tammy is a young person living in London and receiving support from their local CAMHS. Tammy is 14yrs old and struggling to get into school, she feels very anxious and has to be made to go into school every day. She’s starting to refuse to attend at all as her anxiety is increasing and she’s struggling to regulate her emotions. She has a history of self-harming and suicidal thinking and is being screened for additional developmental disabilities that may be affecting how she communicates and processes the world around her. Tammy is fascinated by architecture and requested a camera and books about photography to take photos of buildings she loves. She has received her PHB items and has said she’s very excited to learn more about photography, and building design in general. She hopes to study photography in college. Tammy’s wellbeing score doubled during her time on the project.
“Getting my PHB item made me feel like these people actually care about me as they want me to progress and help me with my studies.”

Sayeed is a young person living in London and receiving support from their local CAMHS. Sayeed is 11yrs old and was referred to CAMHS following a request for an ADHD diagnosis because of difficulties with focus/attention, self-regulation and over–activity. Sayeed has a history of medical complexities from an accident when he was young. Sayeed’s mother has also been seriously ill after she suffered a heart attack. His grandmother cares for his mum as well as Sayeed and his sibling, both of whom face their own challenges. In school, Sayeed often requires adult’s support to maintain focus, manage his behaviour and access the learning. He was given an ADHD diagnosis and is now on medication. Since receiving his PHB items of sports items and clothing, Sayeed’s mum has said that his confidence has grown as he’s been able to play outside and make new friends in the area whilst playing sports. Sayeed’s wellbeing score rose by 25% at his mid-way review.
